THERAPY
OUR APPROACH
Our therapeutic approach is based in the understanding that therapy is a journey of exploration towards cultivating greater awareness and creating positive change.
We collaborate with you to uncover the root causes of your concerns and
address your desired outcome for therapy.
INTEGRATIVE APPROACHES
We draw from a variety of evidence-based practices to provide a comprehensive and
individualized treatment approach that is unique to you.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic Therapy is an effective, research-based approach to exploring and healing sources of emotional and relational challenges.

The goal of this model is to foster awareness and understanding of how past experiences influence our present experience. It explores the “why” behind our thoughts, feelings, and actions. The benefits have been shown to continue growing even after therapy has ended.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a research-based approach that helps you understand and improve your emotional connection with self and others.
EFT helps identify and transform negative patterns of interaction that cause distress. This approach helps people understand their feelings and the feelings of those around them, leading to healthier and more fulfilling relationships.

Family Systems Therapy
The Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) is founded on the principle that we all have an innate capacity for self-healing and offers a powerful tool for personal growth and emotional well-being.

IFS is an innovative form of therapy designed to promote psychological well-being through emphasizing self-awareness, self-compassion, and creating a greater sense of wholeness and integration.
Expressive Arts Therapy (EXA) is the practice of using imagery and creative expression in an integrated way to foster growth and healing.
EXA draws from various creative modalities to help people access, express and understand their inner world. EXA goes beyond traditional talk therapy and allows you to express and process your feelings and experiences, and gives the opportunity to look at these things from different angles. Research suggests that the use of the expressive arts for therapeutic purposes offers several benefits, which include developing strengths and skills, personal growth, symptom reduction, improved communication, and increased self-understanding.

Family Systems
Therapy
Family Systems Therapy is a method that focuses on the family as a whole system, and how each member influences one another and the family system.

A central tenet of this approach is that each family is an emotional unit and individual behavior is considered from the context of the family. When something affects one member, it has an impact on every other member of the family. For that same reason, the strength and stability of the family can provide balance and support when one family member is experiencing problems. This approach also considers how generational, social, community, and cultural factors influence families.
